Orphaned as a child, young Matthias is raised at the peaceful Redwall Abbey, where he dreams of becoming a legendary warrior. When the ruthless rat Cluny the Scourge and his army lay siege to the abbey, Matthias embarks on a perilous quest to find the lost sword of Martin the Warrior. Along the way, he discovers unlikely allies, faces dangerous enemies, and learns that true courage comes from protecting others.

An orphaned mouse named Matthias must protect Redwall Abbey when the ruthless Cluny the Scourge lays siege to its peaceful home. To defeat him, Matthias sets out to uncover the lost legacy of Redwall’s greatest hero.
