Why the SOLO MIO Guild Score Changed—and What It Means
Transparency matters to us, especially when it comes to the data we share.
Recently, we tested two different methods for generating a Guild score for the movie SOLO MIO. Both approaches were valid but produced different results. Initially, we published a score of 84 based on the average of the two. At the time, this felt like the most balanced and responsible option.
Since then, we’ve continued reviewing both methods and discovered that one approach is more accurate and better aligned with what the Guild score is intended to represent. With this insight, we’ve updated SOLO MIO's score to 93 to reflect the more accurate methodology.
This update reflects an improvement in how the score is calculated for comedy films, not a change in the underlying data. We’ll continue refining our methodology as we learn more, and we’re committed to being clear whenever updates like this occur.
