Film synopsis

With grand expectations from his father and the local community, a high school football star's future is suddenly lost after suffering a major head injury. Now he must find a new way to push towards greatness. He joins the Cross Country team in pursuit of a State title, despite his father's wishes. Based on a true story and featuring songs from the classic rock band "Petra", "The Rocket" delivers an inspirational, family driven, small town story about never giving up.
