Where to Watch Breath of Life
From the moment we’re born, breathing is something we do without thinking. But what if each breath tells us something deeper about who we are, why we’re here, and the God who created us?
In Breath of Life, The Kooman Brothers bring together leading voices from faith, science, and creativity to explore the meaning of being made in God’s image. Through thoughtful reflections and striking visuals, the film invites audiences to see creation—and their place in it—in a new light.

The Meaning Behind Every Breath
Breathing is one of the most natural things we do. We rarely stop to think about it, much less consider what it might reveal about our Creator.
Breath of Life invites audiences to pause and reflect on the connection between the breath that sustains us and the God who gives life. Drawing on the biblical account of creation, the film explores what it means to be made in God’s image and how that truth shapes our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
Rather than treating creation as something distant or abstract, the film brings the subject into the present. Every breath becomes an opportunity to consider the gift of life and the purpose behind it.
Voices From Faith and Creativity
To explore these questions, Breath of Life brings together people with different perspectives and experiences, united by a shared interest in faith, creation, and the nature of God.
Among those featured is Dallas Jenkins, along with members of the rock band Skillet. Their contributions help explore what it means to reflect God’s image and live out that identity in the world.
The film also draws on voices from science and other creative fields, bringing a range of perspectives to its central questions. These conversations invite reflection on the relationship between faith, the world we inhabit, and the purpose behind our lives.
A Film That Inspires a Fresh Perspective
Some films entertain through action or comedy. Others leave room for questions that stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
Breath of Life belongs to the latter category. Through its exploration of creation, faith, and humanity’s relationship with God, it encourages viewers to reconsider something they experience every moment of every day.
Angel Guild members have described the film as moving, uplifting, inspiring, and educational. One viewer called it “a splendid film I would like to see over and over again and share with everyone I can.”
Whether watched individually or shared with family and friends, Breath of Life offers an opportunity to reflect on the beauty of creation and the meaning behind the life we’ve been given.
