Updates to the Guild
This is the official Angel Guild update page. We're committed to keeping everyone informed about all the latest changes. The application fee has now increased from $50 to $100 to submit a project.

The Torch is meant to focus on the story, and not on the filmmakers or actors behind it. A new policy for credits and title sequences in Torches has been added. Credits of any kind are no longer allowed in Torch submissions. Filmmakers must remove opening credits, burned in credits, and closing credits prior to submitting their Torch. Title sequences at the beginning or end of the Torch are also no longer allowed in the Torch. Filmmakers will also refrain from adding information about the company behind the project, actors, directors, or producers.
Torches submitted as full length films are exempt from this new policy.

In order for a film to make it through the Guild and into the next phase it must meet the minimum Guild eligibility scores. We have decided to make minimum Guild eligibility scores public. Below you can see the eligibility score requirements based on the type of film.
Children’s Shows and Concept Videos = 40
Documentaries & Completed Productions = 50
Films Intended for Theatrical = 60
Additionally, we've launched a new filmmaker application process to streamline the application process. The new process allows you to upload your Torch file, Angel Studios' Torch agreement, and pay the $50 application fee all in one place.
