Mike Rowe joins the Chicago Fire Department’s Air Sea Rescue team at Engine House 13, where skilled divers respond to emergencies in Lake Michigan’s icy waters. Under Deputy District Chief Ron Dorneker’s guidance, Mike learns to suit up quickly, use rescue equipment, and work with a team whose mission is to pull people from the water as soon as possible. After training, he takes part in a high-stakes ice rescue drill.
