Angel Studios Movie and TV Ratings

When you watch movies and TV shows on angel.com or in the Angel Studios app, you'll find a rating for each show.

Ratings are decided by MPAA, Angel Studios, and the filmmakers. We have not offered movies or TV shows rated R, TV-MA, or NC-17. However, while we aim to make content that works for most audiences, some of our shows feature dramatic depictions that include violence or traumatic events.

What do these ratings mean? Here is a helpful breakdown.

Kids

• TV-Y: Appropriate for all ages

• TV-Y7: Acceptable for ages seven and up

• G: Made for general audiences, determined by the MPAA

• TV-G: Made for general audiences

• PG: Parental guidance recommended, determined by the MPAA

• TV-PG: Parental guidance recommended

Teens and adults

• PG-13: Parents guidance strongly encouraged, determined by the MPAA. May be inappropriate for ages under 13.

• TV-14: Parents guidance strongly encouraged. May be inappropriate for ages under 14.

Where Can I Find These Ratings?

When you open the web browser, TV app, or phone app, the ratings will appear on the main screen for each title.

For shows with multiple seasons, the ratings may change from season to season, but not from episode to episode. However, the occasional episode in an entire season may contain content that differs from the overall rating.
