Welcome to Angel Studios! Angel Studios, Inc. (“Angel Studios” or “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Data when you interact with our websites, mobile applications, and any other online services that link to this Policy (collectively, our “Platform”). It also applies to Personal Data we collect through our offline business operations (our “Operations”).
This Policy does not cover information collected from job applicants or our employees. We may provide different or additional notices of our privacy practices with respect to other Personal Data collection practices not within the scope of this Policy, in which case this Policy will not apply.
“Personal Data” is sometimes also referred to as personal information, personally identifiable information, or other like terms to mean any information that directly or indirectly identifies you, makes you identifiable or is reasonably capable of being associated with you or your household. We do not collect, use, or disclose other forms of Personal Data called “Sensitive Personal Information” or “Special Category Data”, which are subject to additional protections under applicable data privacy laws.
Personal Data does not include information that has been de-identified or aggregated in a way that cannot be used to identify a specific individual or make them identifiable. In addition, except for Personal Data relating to individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), UK or Switzerland (collectively, “Europe”), Personal Data also does not include information that is publicly available through government records. When using deidentified data, we publicly commit to maintain and use the information in that form and will not attempt to reidentify the information, unless permitted or required by law.

We may also receive information about you from third parties, such as social media platforms or analytics providers — this Policy explains how. Our primary goals in collecting Personal Data are to provide and improve our Platform, conduct our Operations, communicate with people and enable visitors to our Platform to easily navigate and enjoy them.

When an Angel Guild member purchases a ticket through our Platform or redeems their complimentary tickets, we may display an Angel Guild logo on the selected seat in the publicly visible seating map to indicate that the seat has been purchased by an Angel Guild member. This display does not reveal your name, contact information, or any other Personal Data to other users. It reflects only your membership status as an Angel Guild member. By purchasing a ticket as an Angel Guild member, you acknowledge that your seat selection may be identified with the Angel Guild logo on the seating chart visible to other ticket purchasers.
We, or third parties acting on our behalf, use tracking tools like cookies to automatically collect certain information regarding your use of our Platform (“Usage Data”). For example, we may collect information about your device, browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifier. We may also collect data from activity that is publicly visible and/or accessible on blockchains, including but not limited to, blockchain addresses and information regarding purchases, sales, or transfers of NFTs, which may then be associated with other data you have provided to us. For purposes of this Policy, an NFT is a non-fungible token or similar digital item implemented on a blockchain (such as the Ethereum blockchain or Angel’s Sidechain), which uses smart contracts to link to or otherwise be associated with certain content or data.
We may also collect information on video or other content views and interactions, including but not limited to, video name, show name, and episode number, as further outlined in our Video Privacy Policy.
We may combine Usage Data with other Personal Data we collect or receive.
We may receive Personal Data and other information about you from third parties, including, our affiliates, service providers, social media platforms, advertising networks, other users, and publicly or commercially available sources (collectively, “Third Party Sources”) where permitted by applicable law and in line with this Policy.

We may combine Personal Data we receive from Third Party Sources with information we collect directly from you or automatically through your use of the Platform to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform, personalize your experience, conduct analytics and research, communicate with you, develop new products and services, and support our business operations.
Note: Angel does not receive, collect, or retain users’ Social Security numbers or other government-issued identification information. To verify the identity of our U.S. members, we use a third-party service provider, North Capital. U.S. users provide their Social Security number directly to North Capital, which conducts the identity verification process and confirms their eligibility to preview and vote on unreleased films.
We may track the total number of visitors to our Platform, the number of visitors to each page of our Platform, browser type, IP addresses, external websites linked to, and other aggregated data collected through our Platform, and we may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, but such information will be maintained, used, and disclosed in aggregate form only. We may use this information to analyze trends, administer the Platform, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We will not distribute anonymized data in a manner that personally identifies anyone or that would otherwise violate applicable laws.

Angel does not sell your Personal Data to third parties for monetary consideration. However, Angel may share your Personal Data with third parties for targeted advertising, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Data for targeted advertising under privacy laws. If you wish to delete your account, note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for our legitimate business purposes.
For marketing and other promotional email communications you receive from us, you can opt-out of receiving such communications by clicking “unsubscribe” (or an equivalent action) within the email. In addition, you may opt out of all marketing messages by sending an email to privacy@angel.com. We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable, and in accordance with applicable laws. Opting out of these communications will only apply to marketing and other promotional emails and will not apply to transactional communications, such as those about our ongoing relationship.
We will send marketing and promotional communications to individuals located in Europe only where those users have opted in to receive them, enquired about the products or services being marketed or have subscribed to our Platform to receive products and services that are the same or similar to those being communicated about. You may withdraw your consent (e.g. by opting out) to receive marketing communications at any time.
If you have provided us with your prior express consent to receive text messages via an automatic telephone system (autodialer), we may use your information to send promotional, personalized advertising and other text messages to any mobile device connected to your mobile phone number. You can opt out from receiving future text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text messages you receive from us; or sending us an email at privacy@angel.com with the subject line “STOP” and including your phone number in the email. Once you opt out, we will send one additional confirmation text message stating that you have opted out of receiving automated text messages from us. We may send push notifications to your mobile device, tablet, or web browser if you have enabled these on your device. These notifications allow us to keep you informed about content you may enjoy, activity on your account, and updates to the Platform. You are not required to enable push notifications to use the core features of the Platform. You may enable, disable, or customize your push notification preferences at any time by updating your device, browser, or app notification preferences settings. You can also contact us at privacy@angel.com for assistance opting out of promotional push notifications or managing your notification preferences.
Please note that disabling promotional and content notifications will not affect notifications that are necessary for the operation of your account, such as security alerts or critical service updates.
We do not knowingly send push notifications to users we have identified as being under 16. If you believe a child has enabled push notifications through Platform, please contact us at privacy@angel.com.
If you do not want us to use your Personal Data to deliver targeted advertisements to you according to our target audience preferences, you can opt out by sending us an email with your request to privacy@angel.com or adjust your cookie settings at the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of our Platform.
We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your Personal Data to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties, which may include our Marketing Partners, may provide you with ways to choose not to have your Personal Data used to deliver targeted to you according to their target audience preferences.
You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website, located at https://www.networkadvertising.org, and from members of the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) on their website, located at https://youradchoices.com. Please note, even if you opt out from receiving targeted advertisements, you may still see advertisements based on factors such as your general location derived from your IP address, your browser type and your search terms.
We honor opt-out preference signals. An opt-out preference signal is a signal that is sent by a platform, technology or mechanism on your behalf that communicates your choice to opt-out of the sharing for targeted advertisements or sale of your Personal Data. You can learn more about implementing opt-out preference signals at https://globalprivacycontrol.org, or by exploring other developing technologies and services that offer this tool.
We treat opt-out preference signals as valid requests to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Data under privacy laws. Ordinarily, your opt-out preference signal is sufficient for us to honor your request, but in some instances, we may request additional information to help facilitate your request for offline sales or sharing. We will not use, disclose or retain this additional information for any purpose other than to facilitate the request.
Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference setting that users can enable in certain web browsers. DNT is a way for users to inform websites and services that they do not want certain information about their webpage visits collected over time and across websites or online services. Please be advised that we do not respond to or honor legacy DNT signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control and other opt-out preference signals as described in section D above.
We do not direct or target any piece of our Platform to children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected the Personal Data of anyone under the age of 16, we will take appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian of someone under the age of 16 and discover that your child has submitted Personal Data to us, please contact us at privacy@angel.com. We will make reasonable efforts to remove such information from our databases.

We will verify your identity by asking you to provide Personal Data related to your recent interactions with us. We will honor your privacy rights request within one month of receipt, unless we request an extension as permitted by data privacy laws. However, we will honor opt-out of sale requests within 15 business days. If you are a resident of a state that gives you the right to appeal decision, you may appeal a denial of your privacy right requests by emailing us at privacy@angel.com or by completing our web form here. Within 45 days of receipt of an appeal, we will inform you in writing of any action taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decisions. If we deny your appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Attorney General of your state.
If permitted or required by applicable law, you may exercise your privacy rights through an authorized agent. If we receive your request from an authorized agent, we may ask for evidence that you have provided such agent with a power of attorney or that the agent otherwise has valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf. If you are located in Europe, you have certain rights with respect to your Personal Data and this section applies to you. This section supplements and is in addition to the Policy. Angel is located in the United States and our Platform is operated in and governed by the laws of the United States. Personal Data may be collected in, transferred, processed, and stored outside the jurisdiction where you reside, and therefore may be available to government authorities under lawful orders and laws applicable in such foreign jurisdictions. These foreign jurisdictions may have data protection and privacy laws that are different than the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside.
By using the Platform, or providing us with any Personal Data, you acknowledge that the Platform is subject to the laws of the United States and understand that the collection, processing, maintenance, and transfer of such information in and to the United States and other applicable territories in which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as or equivalent to those in the country where you reside and/or are a citizen.
Where we collect Personal Data about individuals located in Europe, we will only transfer that Personal Data to these recipients where permitted by law and, where required, implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers (such as by entering into the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses with a UK addendum for such transfer). We may integrate third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into our services. These service providers are contractually required to comply with applicable data protection laws and ethical AI standards. We may also use AI tools to enhance our services and improve service delivery. These tools may process Personal Data to generate insights or automate responses. For example, when you engage with our chatbot, you are interacting with an AI-powered system. These bots may collect and process Personal Data you provide during interactions—such as your name and email address—to deliver relevant support. While we strive for accuracy, responses may be generated automatically and should not be relied on as expert guidance. If you need help with something important, we recommend speaking with a member of our team.
We may use information you provide to improve our services, including training AI models that support customer service. This information is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and is subject to reasonable security controls.
Because the methods used to protect your Personal Data and the services we provide are continually evolving, this Policy may change at any time. Unless otherwise noted, those changes will be effective as soon as they are posted. If changes are made to this Policy, we will make it known on our Platform and/or by email and will indicate the last date it was updated above. Your continued use of our Platform after any changes to this Policy become effective, constitutes your continued acknowledgement that you understand that we may continue to use your Personal Data as described in this Policy.
