A contemporary retelling of the parable of the prodigal son, Breaking the Press is set against the high-pressure world of Texas high school basketball. As ambition, pride, and outside influence pull a gifted young athlete away from his roots, the film explores faith, forgiveness, and the difficult grace required to find one’s way home; on and off the court.
