Emma's Chance

Based on California’s real-life Red Bucket Equine Rescue, a young woman named Emma saves an abused horse – named Chance – from the type of auction that ends at a horse-meat factory. Bullied in high school, Emma takes a liking to the abused horse while performing community service, and devises a scheme to put the predatory horse-buyer out of business.

While doing her community service at a horse rescue ranch, Emma forms an unlikely bond with an abused stallion that won't let anyone else ride her. Gaining new skills and confidence, Emma hatches a plan to save the ranch she's grown to love.
