Created by Phil Cunningham of Sunrise Animation Studios, the film will be released exclusively in theaters on December 19, 2025, distributed by Angel.

DAVID is a larger-than-life animated feature film about one of the most fascinating figures in history. The movie tells the biblical story of David — warrior, poet, shepherd, and eventual king — whose faith and courage changed the course of nations. Through breathtaking animation and powerful music, DAVID brings to life the timeless story of a young man who trusted God against all odds.

Phil Wickham, one of the most beloved voices in Christian music, brings both his musical artistry and heartfelt spirit to the role. Wickham joins Brandon Engman, who voices David as a youth, in the cast.
