Angel Studios, the studio behind the global blockbuster SOUND OF FREEDOM, has completed production of the upcoming Angel Original movie and TV show, HOMESTEAD. Based on the best-selling book series, Black Autumn, by Jeff Kirkham and Jason Ross, HOMESTEAD follows the clash of two families in the fall of civilization: an ultra-prepared, wealthy family against the military veteran family they’ve hired for property security. Amidst their conflict, and as the world grows increasingly violent, evidence mounts that God may have plans of His own.

HOMESTEAD will launch as a groundbreaking hybrid concept, debuting as a feature film in 2024 and then transitioning into a TV series.

The HOMESTEAD series is helmed by showrunners Jason Ross and Ben Kasica (MIRACLE, I STILL BELIEVE). The film is directed by Ben Smallbone (I STILL BELIEVE, STEVE MCQUEEN: American Icon) and produced by Ben Kasica and Andrea Royer.  

HOMESTEAD Synopsis;

HOMESTEAD is an intense post-apocalyptic family survival drama.  Ex-Green Beret Jeff Eriksson takes a job as head of security at an elaborate prepper compound, The Homestead, as the world crumbles. Inside, they face resource wars and ideological conflicts, while outside, chaos reigns.  Amid the mayhem, unity and forgotten truths emerge as love grows in unexpected places and the community strives to cultivate the land and fend off impending destruction.
