About the Cast and Filmmakers
Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom.
“The King of Queens,” which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world. James also starred in, and executive produced “The Crew,” a Netflix sitcom set in the world of NASCAR.
James brought his stand-up act to TV with “Sweat the Small Stuff,” a one-hour special for Comedy Central. Kevin James and Ray Romano executive produced and starred in the HBO Sports special “Making the Cut: The Road to Pebble Beach,” a documentary about the Pebble Beach Pro Am Golf Tournament that was nominated for a Sports Emmy. His second comedy special “Never Don’t Give Up” premiered on Netflix to critical acclaim. Last year, James premiered his one-hour special “Kevin James: Irregardless” for Prime Video, for which he received a nomination for Best Comedy Special at the 30 th Annual Critics Choice Awards.
James made his feature film debut in Columbia Pictures’ “Hitch” starring opposite Will Smith, and starred in, produced and co-wrote the hit comedies “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 1 & 2”, “Zookeeper,” and “Here Comes The Boom.” James has starred alongside Adam Sandler in “Pixels,” “Grown Ups,” “Grown Ups 2,” “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry,” and “Hubie Halloween.” He starred in the features “True Memoirs of an International Assassin” and “Home Team” for Netflix, as well as the independent action thriller “Becky.”
Upcoming, James is set to appear in three comedy films: the action comedy “Guns Up” alongside Christina Ricci, “Solo Mio” and “Playdate.”

Born in Washington, D.C., Hannigan began appearing in commercials at the age of four and then moved to Hollywood at age 11. She soon landed her first major film role in "My Stepmother is an Alien," alongside Seth Green. She is best known for her roles in the Emmy Award-winning series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "How I Met Your Mother," with additional notable acting credits including the "American Pie" film franchise, "Angel," "Veronica Mars," “Abducted: The Mary Stauffer Story” and the 2019 Disney Channel Original Movie "Kim Possible."
Hannigan recently starred on season 32 of the Disney+ and ABC hit series, “Dancing with the Stars,” where she emerged as a fan favorite and placed 5th. In 2021, Hannigan starred alongside Ben Schwartz in the Disney+ film "Flora & Ulysses,” where she played the role of Phyllis Buckman in the original movie based on the Newberry Award-winning children’s book. In 2020 she hosted Food Network’s “Outrageous Pumpkins” and “Girl Scout Cookie Championship”. Previously, Alyson served as host of The CW’s "Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” she also voiced the role of Claire Clancy, mom to six-year-old Nancy, in Disney Junior's animated series "Fancy Nancy.”

After a 30-year break from the stage, Kim returned to the theater in Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem, winning the Dora Award for Best Actor.

JULEE CERDA is an actress, writer, and producer hailing from New York, known for bringing bold, layered characters to life on stage and screen.
Her most recent work includes starring alongside Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal in the 2025 Broadway production of Othello, and appearing in the upcoming feature film Solo Mio, opposite Kevin James and Alyson Hannigan, set for release this Valentine's Day. She was a series regular on The Mighty Ducks, and has captivated audiences in standout roles on Orange Is the New Black, Homeland, House of Cards, Marvel's Iron Fist, and Blindspot. In 2018, she made her Broadway debut in Kenny Leon's Children of a Lesser God.
On the big screen, Julee has been featured in The Intern (2015), Passengers (2016), Hulu's Vacation Friends 2 (2023), and most recently took on the iconic role of the Evil Stepmother in Disney's Descendants (2024).
Renowned for portraying empowered, complex women, Julee brings authenticity and fire to every role. Off-camera, she's equally driven-collaborating with writer Maya Contreras on Mrs. Pip, a sharp, politically charged drama series centered on Latina leads, and developing Forbidden City, a sweeping feature film spotlighting an all-Asian cast.

Jonathan Roumie is an award-winning actor, producer, director, and voice-over artist best known for his acclaimed portrayal of Jesus in the global phenomenon The Chosen—the most translated television series in history and the highest crowdfunded media project of all time. His nearly three-decade career spans both sides of the camera, and his performance in The Chosen has become a benchmark for authentic, emotionally resonant storytelling that has captivated audiences worldwide. Roumie’s screen work also includes memorable roles on Chicago Med, The Mindy Project, The Good Wife, Law & Order, and the NCIS franchise, underscoring his versatility across genres.
Beyond his on-camera roles, Roumie has built a substantial footprint in film and television production. Nicole Grimaudo is an accomplished Italian actress with an extensive and diverse career in television, film, and theater, marked by collaborations with some of the most iconic directors in both Italian and international cinema. Her versatility and ability to portray complex characters have earned her critical acclaim and numerous prestigious awards.
In film, Nicole has worked with some of the most celebrated directors of her time. Her performance in Ferzan Özpetek’s “Mine vaganti” (2010) as Alba stands out as a key role that showcased her ability to balance emotional depth with light-hearted humor. She reunited with Özpetek in 2024 for “Diamanti”, where she portrayed Carlotta, further proving her ability to take on diverse and engaging characters. Nicole's collaboration with Giuseppe Tornatore in “Baarìa” (2008) as Sarina was another highlight, in which she contributed to Tornatore’s sweeping, nostalgic tale of Sicilian life, making a lasting impression on audiences and critics alike. Her career has also included a significant role in Franco Battiato's “Perduto Amor” (2002), and her portrayal of the Princess of Medina in Lina Wertmuller’s “Ferdinando e Carolina”(1998) was another early career milestone. Award nominated actress Julie Ann Emery was put on the map after her breakout role in AMC’s “Better Call Saul" as ‘Betsy Kettleman’. She can most recently be seen as Diane Robichaux, an assistant administrator and incident commander for LifeCare, playing opposite Vera Farmiga and Cherry Jones in Five Days at Memorial, Apple TV+’s limited series from Oscar winner John Ridley and Emmy winner Carlton Cuse. Based on the acclaimed nonfiction book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Sheri Fink, Five Days at Memorial chronicles the first five days in a New Orleans hospital after Hurricane Katrina made landfall.

Charles Kinnane is an American director and member of the Rhode Island-based filmmaking collective the Kinnane Brothers. Born and raised in Little Compton, Rhode Island. Charles began his filmmaking journey making short films with his siblings, and together they would go on to form the Kinnane Brothers along with his brother-in-law Jeffrey Azize.
Charles is known for co-directing, with his brother Daniel, the #1 Netflix hit, Home Team, produced by Adam Sandler and starring Kevin James.

Greenstein is a graduate of the University of Central Florida - College of Business Administration, where he majored marketing with a concentration in sales. Prior to entering the film business, he worked as an Assistant Trainer for the Anthony Robbins Foundation, owned and published a professional development magazine for young professionals, and owned and operated a commercial carpet cleaning company he started at the age of 19.

Mark has developed and produced over a two dozen films and recently was a Producer on "Playdate," starring Alan Ritchson & Kevin James; "Land of Bad," starring Liam Hemsworth & Russell Crowe; "Marlowe," starring Liam Neeson; "Boys of Summer," starring Mel Gibson; and Scott Beck and Bryan Wood’s "Haunt." Mark previously was president of production and PalmStar Media, where he developed and produced Netflix’s "True Memoirs of an International Assassin," starring Kevin James; "Collateral Beauty," starring Will Smith; American Ultra, starring Jesse Eisenberg & Kristen Steward and John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves. Prior to 2012, Mark worked with acclaimed writer/producers such as David E. Kelly, Gary Scott Thompson, and Doug Liman at both Universal and Warner Bros. Mark subsequently worked directly with John Herzfeld at New Redemption Pictures where he helped develop and produce two feature films as well as two television series which were sold to the Starz network and HBO in just over a year. John Kinnane is a writer, editor, and producer. At the age of 17, John created Screenplayed, an educational website dedicated to screenwriting and filmmaking. Since its launch in 2017, Screenplayed has amassed 2.5+ million followers. It is currently one of the largest screenwriting pages in the world.
In addition to managing Screenplayed, John Kinnane co-owns the film production company, Kinnane Brothers, along with his seven brothers. Together, the Kinnanes have done work for NBC, the Olympics, and Samsung. Their short film, Rigor Mortis, was an Official Selection at the 2019 Austin Film Festival.
John has been making skits and short movies with his brothers before he could talk, and today, he's grateful to be still working with some of the most important people in his life and in an industry he's passionate about.
Patrick Kinnane is a screenwriter and member of the filmmaking collective the Kinnane Brothers. He is known for writing and producing the ‘Sound Guy’ viral series starring Kevin James as well as the short film ‘Rigor Mortis.’
