Synopsis:
Join a family of animal documentarians as they journey through nature to capture incredible wildlife stories. At the center is Quokka, their adopted daughter whose creativity and curiosity bring fresh perspective to every adventure. As they face challenges and discoveries together, the family grows closer—learning lessons of selflessness, gratitude, and connection.

About the Cast and Filmmakers
Daniel Armstrong, an American Producer and Director, is known for his background in animation. As Epipheo's Head of Design, he collaborated with brands like Amazon, Comcast, and Google. Now spearheading Epipheo’s Films development, he co-created and directed Quokka's Wild Life (2025) for Angel Studios and co-produced Light of the World (2025) for The Salvation Poem.
Sam Handelsman, an American Producer and Executive, is recognized for his leadership in animated and live-action storytelling. As Executive Producer at Epipheo, he has guided collaborations with brands including Amazon, NBCUniversal, The Red Cross, and more. Helping lead Epipheo’s original content initiatives in distribution and financing, he executive produced Quokka’s Wild Life (2025) for Angel Studios and secured Epipheo’s role as the development studio on the Salvation Poem Project’s feature film Light of the World (2025), a landmark project that marked the launch of the studio’s entertainment division.
Jenna Lowhorn is a Producer with more than 13 years of experience in animation production across film and advertising.
Known for managing complex production pipelines, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality animated content on schedule and within budget. Jenna has contributed to major studio projects at Sony Pictures Animation and Paramount Animation, where she supported the development of films like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Wonder Park. Beyond feature films, Jenna has partnered with national brands including Best Buy and Dairy Queen to bring their stories to life through animation.
At Epipheo, she was recently Associate Producer on The Light of the World (2025) for the Salvation Poem and currently leads the charge as Line Producer on Quokka’s Wild Life (2025) for Angel Studios.
Mariah Long is an accomplished Production Manager with a background in producing animated content and impact-driven storytelling. With experience collaborating with organizations such as Exodus Cry, The Red Cross, and the Hoover Institution, she specializes in bringing purpose-centered narratives to life. Known for cultivating efficient, creative teams, Mariah brings both structure and passion to every production. She was the Production Manager on Quokka's Wild Life (2025) for Angel Studios and Art Department Manager on Light of the World (2025) for The Salvation Poem.
