Sinopse do filme

Emma Miller is a devoted Amish schoolteacher with a loving family and a promising future, yet she longs to experience more of the world. While spending the summer with relatives in Ohio, she forms an unexpected friendship with an Englisher seeking refuge from her own troubled life. Caught between faith, family, and a desire for adventure, Emma must decide whether to remain within the Amish community or step into an uncertain future beyond it.
