Sinopse do filme

In the fading factory town of Minden, Illinois, lonely eleven-year-old Jasmine Plummer discovers a gift for throwing a football. With this, her uncle Curtis, a washed-up former high school star, finds a reason to get off the couch. Coaching her onto the woeful Minden Browns, he helps Jasmine become the first female in history to play Pop Warner football, and gives an entire town something to believe in again.
