Angel.com has made developing dynamic IVR applications significantly more efficient and user-friendly with the addition of Variables and SmartPlay.

What it Does

Variables allow developers to let their Voice Sites communicate with external systems. With variables you can make any web database accessible by phone and can send any information gathered through your IVR to your web database.

How it Works

In previous editions of Site Builder you needed to create Transaction Pages to communicate with external systems. In Site Builder, variables can be created with point and click options, and new SmartPlay functionality ensures they sound professional in the proper intonation when read back to callers.

Sample Call

Angel: "Please say or enter your credit card number."
Caller: "My credit card number is: 5234 6549 2042 5397"
Angel: "I believe you said your credit card number is 5-2-3-4, 6-5-4-9, 2-0-4-2, 5-3-9-7 (pause). Is this correct?"
Caller: "Yes."
Angel: "Thank you, I will now attempt to authorize your credit card..."
