What is a Premium Voice Service?
Obviously it's the best of all voice services. One that you can count on to be there for you when all other voice services fail. Having the ability to build an application that can be reached or used by millions of people worldwide... that's premium.
No, seriously. A Premium Voice Service is one for which callers pay. You put up the voice content, they call because it's interesting. They pay a few cents to a few dollars per minute. The actual service can be anything you want... anything you think people need to access or do over the phone.
During the Site Builder via Skype Alpha period, you won't be able to collect these payments. You can build the application, though, and have it ready for when Site Builder via Skype goes live.

Why would I want to build one?
For fortune and fame, of course! Maybe you have info you want to share with people over the phone. Maybe you're a Web developer who just wants to show off how good you are, and want to give voice services a try. Maybe you have a soft spot in your heart and want to develop a donation line that can be used by "Save the Puppies" foundations all over the world. Maybe you want to make some money on the side by providing audio descriptions of products others are selling on eBay and getting a cut of the sale. Or maybe because if you build it, they will come. Who knows why, but we make it so easy, it's worth giving a try, right?

Why should I choose Angel.com over the other voice apps?
Boy, you really are persistent! Aside from it being free, we've been trying to tell you that it's the easiest platform to build voice apps on. No software, no coding if you don't want to, just an easy-to-use, self-service, online tool. You also get a toll-free number that can be dialed for free by any Skype (or plain phone, if you must) user. On top of this, you'll also get a support rep all to yourself. And to get technical, you'll be building your voice app on a tried and true, reliable platform used by more customers than any other platform in the industry.

How do I dial a Voice Site from Skype?
Very simple, with Skype, you can dial any toll-free number in the US, from anywhere in the world, for free. You don't even need a SkypeOut account. (Although we'd like you to have one).

Simply enter your Angel-assigned Toll Free Number in the Skype program, following this format: " +1xxxyyyzzzz" where all those letters are the 10 digits of the Angel Toll Free Number.
Better still, if you use Windows, you can install the Skype Web Toolbar. You can then dial the Voice Site from within Angel.com by clicking on any web page that has your Angel phone number
What's VXML?
Technical, I know. Stands for VoiceXML. Basically a coding language that is used to build voice applications by very geeky programmers. Luckily for you, Angel.com has taken care of all the coding and used that code to build different Voice Pages. You just have to link the pages together in the right fashion to make your Voice Site.

What's IVR?
Again, sorry for being so technical. IVR stands for Interactive Voice Response. The Wikipedia can give a more professional definition, but it's essentially the technology that enables interaction between a caller and a computer via the telephone.
