KB Toys Turns to Angel.com to Provide Consumers with Accurate Store Location Information Directly Via the Telephone

McLean, Va. - November 17, 2004 - Angel.com, a leading provider of on-demand IVR solutions, announced that nationwide retailer KB Toys selected Angel.com to develop and manage its toll-free phone number and application that provides consumers with convenient store location information based on their zip code.

Based in Pittsfield, Mass., KB Toys operates more than 600 stores throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam. For consumers, it provides two phone numbers - 877-5KBTOYS and 888-4KBTOYS - that allow callers to enter their zip code and find the nearest store location. Angel.com managed the development of the store locator application and will support any changes or additions that KB Toys may have to ensure a smooth holiday season.

The retailer, which operates the nation's largest chain of mall-based specialty toy stores, had previously worked with a different vendor for its toll-free store locator number and application.

"Angel.com provided us with all of the services and technical expertise we needed at about half the cost," said Mike Kline, Manager of Network Services for KB Toys. "We are extremely pleased with Angel.com's ability to meet all of our technical needs while allowing us to save money without sacrificing service to customers."

The phone numbers allow consumers to obtain information in English or Spanish and Angel.com provided KB Toys with annualized pricing to help spread the cost of the services throughout the year, even though volume will be highest during the holiday season.
